Presentation of my historical book of draughts in Valencia.
It
was on the 26th February 2004 that I, together with the chess historian
José Antonio Garzón Roger, presented my book about the origin of
draughts/checkers in Valencia. Garzon collaborated actively with the
preparation of the book and wrote several chapters.
In the same book of 2004 I stated that the new powerful chess queen was based on Isabel la Católica (Isabella of Castile), such I had already mentioned in an article in the following book:
